Artist Bio

Gary John has been a street artist since 1985, where he lived in Seattle, Washington. He’s been featured in galleries and has been commissioned for commercial work, including newspapers and magazines. “Art is my passion. There is not enough time in the day to do all the painting I want to do. I’m consumed with it. I did a lot of work with COCA Center of Contemporary Arts in Seattle. I then moved to Venice Beach and am selling on the boardwalk, 10 years. Picasso is my inspiration. Also comic books and American pop culture.”
