Artist Bio

Jim Kempner has been dubbed “the Larry David of the art world.” His eponymous gallery in Chelsea, New York exhibits diverse artists ranging from emerging painters to blue-chip masterpieces by legendary artists. Having the insider’s view of the art world affords Kempner plentiful inspiration for his own irreverent artworks. Kempner’s work pays homage to famous artworks such as Christopher Wool’s “Apocalypse Now,” which sold at auction in 2013 for over $23 mil.
