Arno Elias is a French photographer, painter, and musician. Prior to his career as a visual artist, Arno made a name for himself through his wildly successful musical compositions of the globally renowned Buddha Bar music. After composing music for UNICEF and the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, Arno turned to the visual arts to explore his passion for conservation and animal rights. In 2011 Arno started “The Lost Series”, which is a series of powerful images he captured during his solo photographic tour of the world. After Arno prints the photographs on archival pigment paper, he embellishes each piece with a unique painting technique. To create these special mixed media photographic paintings he applies his own language, seen in different codes, using a spectrum of colors.
